I know it’s nothing like what I had intended to buy la. Omg at that… I went to Courts: “S5IS no stock liao.” The 2nd store: “No more selling lei.” I was in tears when I stepped into the 3rd store: “HAHAHA,” the dude laughed at me. “Old camera alreadyyy la.”

“WHYEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.” Hung my head on the table &mumbled something incoherently. It occurred it me suddenly how I really don’t care if it’s an old model or what. I like it, means I like it.

Wilie (he who laughed at me) said in an attempt to make me feel better, “Add a few more hundreds can buy SLR already.” &a Nikon SLR came into my view. I pushed it away. “I’m a Canon user,” I said without lifting my head off the table. Killer patted me on the shoulder comfortingly. Patting increased in velocity &power. Lost all purpose of comfort… I think she was telling me something about trying out a new model, go out of my comfort zone. That kindar bullshit crap.

But in the end I caved in anyways I took the Nikon in my hand &gave it a shot. Not bad la…… But 6mp only. He showed me a Sony SLR. Wicked shit, I tell you. “Sony is catching up with Canon,” Wilie said. “But Canon still in the lead.” Aherm. I felt a surge of pride. I was feeling better already.

He showed me the Canon Powershot A650 IS. I didn’t like at first cause it of its colour. &it’s not viewfinder friendly. “This is better than that Nikon SLR, or the S5IS you wanted to get.” Chuckle. How dare he mocked me.

He took a macro shot of his pen &compared it with the Nikon’s shot. The difference was astoundingly obvious, if it had a mouth it would laugh in my face &gave Wilie a run for his money. (Idk what I’m talking about here.) “Cheap, some more,” he said. Nikon SLR was $1899. Cheap is good. Cheap is always good.

Then he talked about the free gifts. &how he was throwing in a Canon printer at $199. THE NON-INK KIND LEI. THE ONE YOU CAN BRING ALONG ANYWHERE YOU ARE. IT’S THAT SMALL &CONVENIENT. “Inclusive of 3dry cartridges &108printing paper FREE, & $30 Takashimaya voucher. PLUS Bluetooth adapter, to print pictures from your phone-” At this point I HAH-ed.

I went camera shopping

Courts, to be specific. I didn’t want to, initially. It’s not a nice feeling, entering Courts, or any malls, knowing you don’t exactly have any money with you(YET). So, ya. But we walked past, &the automatic doors slid open. Felt the surge of air conditioned air. A temporary relief, after being out in the heat. &then I saw something.

They had cameras on display. Like 4 tables of cameras on display. They weren’t like behind glasses, they were ..OUTSIDE, like I could totally go up there &touch it.

So I went up there &touched them Just the canon ones, at least. HAHA. I’m biased that way Like CANON FTW!!!!!!

I held a Canon Powershot S5IS. Which is EXACTLY like my current &very-broken-no-use-one-that’s-like-chunked-under-the-bed. Except it’s 8megapixel &has a wider LCD(by 0.5cm).

Then I looked around for The One. It’s like riiiight over the other end, on it’s own special display. It even has: “Please hold with caution. Once damaged considered sold.”

“Dok, hold me,” I said to my youngest sister. She rolled her eyes &held me by my bag. Just in case. So there I was gazing at the gorgeous 450D from that safe distance(&security).

“Don’t be stupid. Just touch it already.”

“No-”

“Fucking touch it.”

“-Ok!”

It’s been soooooooo long since I held a camera, mannnnnnnnnnn. Felt fuckably good. For a while, at least… Now, I’m hit with a dilemma:

$1500 Canon EOS 450D or $700 Canon Powershot S5IS? Let’s say money ain’t no problem.

Who am I kidding. Of course money is a problem. It’s a big BIG BIG IN YOUR FACE problem. Right now I’m shoving it off my face &asking you guys to please help me FIGURE??

That’s one mighty koyok(medicated plaster to relieve muscle aches) right there. Very unprofessionally applied…Haha! I need to revisit my dressing skills la..(tegederm kepe..).

Today’s like the 3rd post-Napfa day lei, but why is it the aches get worse &more unbearable? This morning, I lost all luxury to stretch(stretching does WONDERS, so I learnt from my cats) without getting that achy pain all over, from muscles I never knew I had.

Start all over, with a clearer head, &deeper understanding. Of our materials. Now Cleft Lip has a significant place in the story book of life(?). Simply cause we did a presentation on it. A presentation that almost got us losing our heads. New cleft brain syndrome. Only attacks if you work with Lela.

School’s been taking on toll on all of us luh. We only left school yesterday at 7:30pm. Wow. 10ish hours in school(for me:D), 11ish for the others. Yea yea I was late for 8am tutorial, whatever. It was raining! …K I lied, it wasn’t.

The CMM students had to do an assignment(I figure) where they have to create a video of them lip dubbing to songs..IN ONE CONTINUOUS TAKE. We all know videos require numerous takes, cause sometimes somewhere people mess up &everything. But here, they can’t afford to make mistakes luh, cause if one screws up, they have to record &reshoot all over again from scratch. So. IN ONE CONTINUOUS TAKE LEI. So everybody was moving about &everythingggg it’s damn cool luh. The end product
